About
How my journey
became my calling.
Hi, I’m Jami.
For over a decade, I’ve helped older adults and their families navigate some of life’s most emotional transitions: downsizing, decluttering, and moving.
As the founder of Silver Linings Transitions, I’ve seen what happens when seniors are faced with a lifetime of belongings. And over the years, I started to notice patterns that felt familiar — challenges with organization, piles of unfinished projects, clutter that kept growing, and decisions that felt impossible to make.
I’d seen it in my mom my whole life and thought it was hoarding disorder. Until my child was diagnosed with ADHD.
That diagnosis opened a door. I started learning everything I could. And I realized what I had been witnessing all along — in my parents, myself, and many of my clients — was actually undiagnosed ADHD.
When my mom was finally diagnosed, our relationship shifted from a lifetime of frustration to deep compassion. That experience showed me the power of understanding the brain behind the behavior.
Today, I’m a trained ADHD coach, host of the podcast Grandma Has ADHD, and speaker who works at the intersection of aging and ADHD — a space that’s long been overlooked and deeply deserves our attention.
Whether you are just starting to wonder about ADHD, have received a diagnosis, or support someone who’s navigating it — I’m here to help.
You’re not too late.
And you’re definitely not alone.
My mission.
To guide older adults through the discovery of ADHD and life transitions with clarity, dignity, and heart — so they can thrive in the years ahead.
